On the Mountain Arts Center show February 28th I was presented with the Acclamation Tribute from the Governor of Kentucky, Mr. Andy Beshear for my many years Carrying the Bluegrass music on And my Gospel music. And thanks to Mr John Hunt Sheriff of Floyd Co KY for coming on stage and reading the tribute to the people there. I’m Really very thankful and honored to receive this from the Governor of Kentucky. "Prestonsburg Kentucky is in Eastern KY in Floyd County. I’ve been there many times over the years with Ralph Stanley and Melvin Goins, who lived there and booked shows for the Stanley Bros and Ralph Stanley and myself. At my show there at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg this year February 28th, the Mayor of Prestonsburg presented me with a key to the city Plaque. A surprise to me. I’m very honored and thankful to receive it. This picture is the mayor and myself on stage.

Howdy Howdy Folks !!! Well I said there was more on the way. I’m just now finishing up on my new CD. Got a few Older songs and Some new songs on It. Should be out around May I think on Rebel Records. WAY BACK WHEN will be the CD title Which is a new song. Will have a couple Gospel songs also. I’m pleased with how It turned out. I thank you all for following my music and staying with me through the years as I’m now going into 62 years in Bluegrass Music and Gospel. Stay in touch. Love you all and God Bless.
